I have exciting news for you! There is a new online genealogy event in Sweden!

From 2005 to 2015, 11 years running – I participated as an exhibitor at the annual Swedish Genealogy Days – Släktforskardagarna – each year in a different city, in Sweden. Since 2016 I have not been able to participate, for various reasons, but specifically since I moved to Italy with my family, I just could not get the dates to match the rest of my family's schedule. So I was really looking forward to getting back in the game now that we are back in Sweden. But of course, as so many other things in 2020, SFD 2020 was cancelled due to Covid19...

So you can imagine how excited I got when I heard about this:

Between the 2nd and 4th of October, FFT Live will take place! FFT Live 2020 is a digital, all online, genealogy fair, with loads of speakers, workshops, exhibitors and market place for all things genealogy!

And I I will be there! I will have my own zoom room and very shortly I will share my invitation link, so that you can join me! You will be able to see a collection of the fully customized, uniquely hand-painted family trees that I have made so far. And of course, you will be able to talk to me about what your own hand-painted family tree can look like!

There are a few different kinds of tickets for hearing the speakers and participating in the workshops at FFT Live, but to visit the exhibitors is completely free, all you need is their link, to get in to each exhibitor's "room".

This event is all in Swedish, but if you know of any similar events in other parts of the world, preferably in English, feel free to let me know! If I can work it into my schedule I would love to participate in similar events online!
